Collection Archétype

Part of the Archétype Collection, the BMX Chair transforms the structural language of a BMX frame into a new everyday archetype. By adding metal elements to the frame’s triangulated structure, a solid and functional seat emerges.

The chair comes to life through an interplay between industrial construction and craftsmanship. The seat and backrest are shaped through textile and leather work: the khaki leather version was made by Sprung Frères, while the upholstered version is the result of a collaboration with textile designer Marc Van Hoe.

3D-printed elements add a precise layer of detail, fitting seamlessly into the different metal tubes and completing the transition from BMX frame to chair.
